TV Technology Star Award 2008 for R&S®ETL TV Analyzer
The Star Award is designed to celebrate and showcase the outstanding technological innovations available to the broadcast industry. A panel of judges consisting of TV Technology editors and columnists reviewed a variety of products, examined the technical applications and their overall contribution to the industry, and then submitted their award nominees. The R&S®ETL TV analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz received the Star Award for its integration of an MPEG analyzer.
The R&S®ETL TV analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz is a completely new, universal multistandard platform for analyzing TV signals. It combines TV test receiver and spectrum analyzer functionality in a single unit while providing high measurement accuracy. An innovative instrument concept allows new TV standards to be implemented on a software and hardware basis. Both digital (e.g. DVB-T/H) and analog TV standards can thus be integrated in a single instrument. The R&S®ETL TV analyzer uses realtime demodulation throughout.
