For the use of the TransceiverR&S® XK2100 in continuous transmit mode, the Blower Unit R&S® KL2100 is recommended for keeping the operatingtemperature and the quality parameters within specified tolerances even under harsh environmental conditions.
This option is particularly required for continuous radio data or radiotelephony operations with voice compression or in relay mode.
The blower unit is fixed mechanicallyand electrically to the rear of the transceiver behind the heat sink and connectedto the power supplyof the transceiver. The blowers are temperature-controlled by the output stage.
