R&S®UPV-K421 PDM Bitstream Analysis

Key Facts

This software package expands the R&S®UPV-B42 option to include the measurement of digital audio signals that are transmitted in line with pulse density modulation method. This transmission mode is used, for example, for operating MEMS microphones; sigma delta converters also use this 1 bit data stream.

The PDM bitstream analysis option makes it possible to analyze the audio contents of digital 1 bit data streams in PDM format.
