The RF Performance Test System R&S TS9970 evaluates the spatial radiation characteristic of mobile phone antennas in accordance with the CTIA standard, for example. Measured data is reduced to a two-dimensional display in the polar diagram. The third dimension can be displayed again by using additional software.
