R&S®ZVA-K6 True Differential Measurements
The R&S®ZVA in the true differential mode offers the following features:
- Easy to configure
- Simultaneous measurement and display of mixed-mode S-parameters in the true differential and virtual differential modes
- System-error-corrected mixed-mode wave quantities (power levels) and S-parameters
- Characterization of the DUT´s using real-world signals
- High measurement speed
- High phase accuracy up to 50 GHz
The steps required to configure and calibrate true differential measurements are identical to those for virtual differential measurements. You can switch between the two modes simply at a mouse click.
Switching between the true differential and the virtual differential mode takes no more than a mouse click. When you have configured two measurement channels, you can measure a DUT in both modes simultaneously.
Using a conventional four-port calibration in conjunction with a special, patented correction algorithm, you can generate and measure system-error-corrected mixed-mode wave quantities (power levels) and S-parameters of the reference plane.
The option allows the generation of imperfectly balanced signals, i.e. signals that contain common-mode as well as differential-mode (normal-mode) components, or even purely common-mode components. The option also supports true phase imbalance and true amplitude imbalance sweeps of the two stimulus signals.
The high measurement speed results in short test and tuning times.
A new, patented technique for establishing the phase relationship between the two source signals (phase locking) ensures small phase deviation of typically below 1° over the entire frequency range with minimum time drift.
