  • The software supports the standard with 3.840 Mcps and 15 slots/frame in line with the 3G harmonization recommendation. The maximum number of data channels is 512.
  • The test models 1 to 4, as predetermined in the standard, can be generated by a simple selection.
  • Up to four base stations or mobile stations can be simulated, each having 128 code channels, separately selectable T sector and long code initial values, and different power of the SCH, etc.
  • Symbol rate, spreading code, power, data content (various PRBS or bit patterns) and data offset can be selected for each code channel (data offset is a time offset that can be used to influence the crest factor).
  • Perch channels, SCCPCH and DPCHs can be generated in the downlink; PRACH, PCPCH, DPCCH and DPDCHs in the uplink; each channel with its specific slot structure.
  • The TPC bits may be used for varying the transmit power of a channel versus time.
  • The downlink signals can be calculated for antenna 1 or 2 (transmit diversity).
