R&S®SMJ-K56 Digital Standard XM RADIO
Key Facts
This option enables the R&S SMJ100A to generate signals in accordance with the XM-Radio standard. Per baseband generator (option R&S SMJ-B9/B10/B11), one satellite signal or one terrestrial signal of up to 20 min duration can be generated.
The XM-Radio signal consists of ensemble A and ensemble B. Within an ensemble, the XM-Radio signal is transmitted via two satellites (QPSK-modulation) and additionally via one terrestrial repeater (COFDM-modulation).
