Spectrum and modulation measurements on TX signals

The R&S®FSQ-K93 application firmware allows R&S®FSQ signal analyzers to be used for spectrum and modulation measurements on OFDM and OFDMA signals in accordance with the IEEE 802.16-2004 and IEEE 802.16e-2005 standards, also known as WiMAX. The firmware's functions cover standard-related tests and more in-depth analysis for troubleshooting WiMAX applications at an early stage of development. The R&S®FSQ-K94 option expands the capabilities of R&S®FSQ-K93 to include MIMO measurements in line with the standards.

All functions can be operated manually or programmed via GPIB or LAN.

  • Frequency range: 20 MHz to 3.6/8/26/40 GHz
  • Analysis at the RF or in the analog baseband (optional)
  • Standards: IEEE 802.16-2004, IEEE802.16e-2005, including WiBro
  • Support of OFDM and OFDMA
  • Modulation formats for IEEE 802.16: BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM
  • Analysis of MIMO signals (support matrix A or B)
