DECT
Technology Overview
DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, which was previously named Digital European Cordless Telephony prior to 1995) is a standard for wireless and mobile phones as well as for general wireless data transmission. DECT succeeds the CT1 and CT2 standards.
Applications
DECT is suitable for voice, data, and networking applications with a range up to 500 meters.
