The basic configuration of the R&S®DVRG includes a read-only drive for conventional data CD-ROMs and DVDROMs. Software can thus be updated and new transport streams stored. Option R&S®DVRG-B5 offers a read/write drive for CD-Rs for storing recorded transport streams, replacing the existing read-only drive. Like the base unit, it can also be used to read data DVDs. The R&S®DVRG contains the Nero software for burning data to CD. This software is used in workstation mode and requires the connection of an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
