Repair Options
When you purchase a Repair Option, repairs are made free of charge during the term of the contract of two, three or five years. The repair of defects caused by improper operation or handling and the replacement of consumable parts (such as batteries) are not included. To provide calibration coverage, we additionally recommend a calibration option, which also includes recalibration during non-routine service work performed as part of corrective maintenance. A five-year repair option usually can be purchased for less than the cost of a single, after-warranty repair.
