First LTE FDD networks have been already launched and analysts expect that the first TD-LTE based network will follow in 2011. In contrast to third generation mobile communications systems the TDD mode follows FDD very closely with respect to standardization and base station and handset testing.
This webcast will highlight the major differences between LTE FDD and TD-LTE. It will also provide insights about the TD-LTE challenges for using only one frequency and separating reception and transmission in time.
