To install it, please perform following steps: 1. Make sure that T80-K1 is not running. 2. Note the path of your installation. By default, this should be C:\T80-K1.221. 3. Start the self-extracting executable T80-SP1.221.EXE. In the start box, enter the path of your T80-K1 V2.10 installation and press the "Extract" button. In case you get the error message: "Can't create output file: " set the file attribute of the mentioned file to "read/write". You can change a file's attribute by using the file Explorer. 4. Start T80-K1 V2.21 and import the new limit lines, new and updated scripts and include scripts from the backup database created in the .\Import.SP1 subfolder in your T80-K1 installation path. In order to be able to import the new version of script "System Calibration", make sure first that the attribute of this script is set to "read/write". You can change a file's attribute in the file Navigator: - Open the Navigator and select Function "Open", File Type "Script", click on "System Calibration" - Click on the "Description" button and in the Description dialog set the file's attribute to "read/write" - Close the Description dialog with "OK" and the Navigator with "Cancel" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ NEW FEATURES with Service Pack 1 (May 2008) 1. It is now possible for the user to define that channel N+11 shall be tested in adjacent immunity test (S1), immunity signal type C, for system B/G in band I. For doing so, please proceed as follows: - Open file R.INI in folder \Execute\T80-K1 - Find section [T80_States] - Add a new line to the section as follows: "DoBgChanN11=1" - Save and close the file and then restart T80-K1 For disabling the test at channel N+11 again, change the new line to "DoBgChanN11=0". Please note that for the test to be carried out at channel N+11, the corresponding limit line "EN55020_TV_S1_BG_2_C" must be edited as well, the corresponding value must be entered at channel 11. The limit line delivered and installed by default does not contain a suitable limit definition at N+11 ! 2. When doing sound tests on TV receivers at country France_1, T80-K1 until now will switch on a NICAM carrier signal in order to simulate the real environment physically present during use. It is now possible to configure the SFM driver so that this additional NICAM carrier will not be generated any more. Instead, France_1 will be programmed to use a single AM carrier. For doing so, please proceed as follows: - Open file G_SFM.INI in folder \Execute\T80-K1 - Find section [Actual parameters] - Add a new line to the section as follows: "UseNicamForFrance=0" - Save and close the file and then restart T80-K1 For enabling the NICAM carrier again, change the new line to "UseNicamForFrance=1". 3. Driver for generators SMR/SML/SMV now also recognizes and controls RF generator R&S SMB100A. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FIXED PROBLEMS with Service Pack 1 (May 2008) 1. The S1 inband test for FM receivers now also runs correctly if the section below FM is divided into several subranges with changing step size. 2. For tests on DVB-T receivers with Operating Mode TV, the decision whether to test immunity signal types C and D now depends on the selected country and band (channel number) in the same way as for standard TV receivers. 3. For S2a test on DVB-T and ATSC receivers with Operating Mode different from TV, the TV channel is taken into account correctly, that is, the scan has a gap if the channel frequency is below 150 MHz. 4. SFU driver did switch on the audio signal after S/N reference measurements in sound tests for TV receivers with standard L. This has been corrected. 5. SFU driver now generates a correct TV signal when testing a TV receiver with standard L in Band I. 6. When going to local mode and returning back to remote, SFU driver will now control the device correctly if it is used as desired signal generator for several systems (DVB and/or DAB and/or ATV). 7. SFQ driver: Default setting for new property "I/Q modulator" now is "internal". Thus, older configurations are now imported without setting this to "external". 8. UPV driver now sets measurement range back to "60 mV lowest" correctly in all cases even if a previous measurement led to a higher range. 9. SMV03 driver now allows setting I/Q modulation if option SML-B3 is not installed. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ May, 27th, 2008 JA, 1SP3 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
